A symposium on women and abuse at home

Arathi Kannan

Domestic violence is a pattern of abusive behavior displayed by a person living in a domestic setup where they physically and mentally harm (or threaten to harm) a person within the household. It is one of the most common forms of violence experienced by women across the world.

On 9th September 2020, White Swan Foundation invited a panel of eminent experts to discuss women and abuse at home.

To fully address domestic abuse, we need to talk about the social, legal and mental health realities around it. Our panel of experts brought these complexities to the conversation.
